Having been in active recovery for 20 years, she understands firsthand the challenges of addiction and is deeply committed to guiding others toward healing and lasting change. With a heart full of compassion and a relentless dedication to serving the community, Darla leads with both expertise and empathy, ensuring that Hope House is a place where individuals and families can find the support, tools, and encouragement they need to rebuild their lives.

It was there that she found hope and began a discipleship program that led her to true freedom in Christ. Now, Shana is passionately dedicated to helping others break free from addiction, walking alongside them with understanding, grace, and unwavering support. Together with her husband, she serves the community by feeding the homeless and offering hope to those in need, using her own story to inspire and uplift others on their path to healing.

With a background spanning long-term care facilities and community living, Cyd is committed to helping others achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Holding a degree from Camden County College in Applied Science and a Master’s from Rutgers School of Social Work with an emphasis on substance use disorders, Cyd is both a Licensed Social Worker and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Through patient-centered care, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and talk therapy, Cyd meets each person where they are, focusing on their strengths and providing a compassionate, empathetic approach.
Beyond professional work, Cyd is an active community member, always seeking ways to uplift and support others, whether through advocacy, nonprofit involvement, or church ministry. A strong faith in God serves as the foundation for this commitment, fueling a desire to make a lasting impact. In free time, Cyd enjoys traveling in an RV, riding motorcycles with a husband, and spending time with a beloved dog. The Prime for Life: DUI Education and Prevention Program is designed to provide individuals who have been arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) with the necessary education, skills, and strategies to make responsible choices regarding alcohol and drug use. Using the evidence-based Prime for Life curriculum, this program focuses on preventing future offenses by helping participants understand the consequences of impaired driving, recognize risky behaviors, and take responsibility for their actions. By participating in this program, individuals will gain insight into how substances affect their behavior, learn how to make healthier decisions, and reduce their risk of future DUI offenses.
